How does enrollment with our School work?
Policies, bylaws, fine print, forget about it!
You may have visited our website or heard about us through a friend and
wondered what some of the terms and policies regarding enrollment with our swim
school works. In the paragraphs below we have attempted to demystify the
process and make it clear for everybody!
How do I sign up?
Easy!
·Visit our website and use our unique level
finder tool to place your child. You will be redirected to the appropriate
class page where you can view/register for classes completely online. Classes
will show tuition and number of openings and are listed by month.
·Enrollment is immediate upon registration! No
waiting to hear back from us in two weeks.
·If your child is six years or older, or you
still don’t know after using our tool, don’t worry! Just call/message us and
set up a quick swim test to evaluate your child.
How do our continuous lessons work?
·You find a day and
time that has the class that you need and you register in that class. You own
that day and time until you decide to take a break, you move to another
day/time or your student gets promoted.
·Family Registration
fees are annual so you won’t need to worry about them each month. They cover
the entire family and also extend your membership to membership at EGA.
·Classes are pro-rated
if you start after the first week.
·You will pay for your
first month when you register and then through a monthly direct debit, which is
the twentieth
day of each month.
·Ending your lessons is simple: let us know by the 15th of the month you want to finish and you will be withdrawn at the end of that month. This allows us to put an end date on the class and opens the class for other students. Drop us an email or let us know when you come for lessons. Cancellations after the 15th will need to wait until the next monthly session is over.
How much do your lessons cost?
·Star Fish through Marlins are just under $20 per lesson to come once a week. Guppies (Parent & Me) are just over $17 per lesson and Jelly Fish run about $25 per lesson.
·Water Babies lessons are FREE with a $30 Family Registration fee until your child is 6 months of age.
·We offer a 50% multiple class discount during the summer and/or multiple child discounts.
- Tuition will be adjusted for 5 lesson months.
- Monthly tuition is calculated and billed on the 20th business day of the month. Lesson cost x (# of scheduled class days in the month) = $Monthly Total
Our Swim Diaper Policy
·Each child under the age of 3 years is REQUIRED to wear a reusable swim diaper over a disposable swim diaper. You can purchase each type at the ASA ProShop.
Holidays & Weather Closings
·We will close our facilities for major US holidays and offer makeups to individuals affected by the closure. Additionally, we offer complementary makeups for all classes cancelled due to severe/inclement weather and we will notify parents via text-alert, email and Facebook of any pending closures.
Make-up Policy
·We know that you are busy and strive to make every effort to ensure you get the lessons you paid for. There are no limits to Planned/Excused absences (absences called in 24 hours or more in advance).
·Unexcused/Unplanned (given less than 24 hrs. notice) can be made up once. Additional unplanned absences cannot be made up.
·There are ABSOLUTELY no make-ups for missed make-ups.
How do I withdraw/cancel lessons?
·We require requests
for withdrawal to be made no later than the 15th of the month you
would like to finish lessons.
This allows us to put an end date on the class and opens the class for other
students. Leave us an email or let us know when you come for lessons.
